"Sof-Runner™" Wheel

Our Sof-Runner™ wheel has been developped for the shopping cart and material handling industry (industrial and healthcare markets). It is available in two sizes, with or without caster assembly. Our Sof-Runner™ wheel is an example of Rondi Industries know-how.

Steel tubular bearing

The tempered steel zinc plated tubular ball-bearings are inserts molded directly into the high impact polypropylene hub of the Sof-Runner™ wheel, completely eliminating shaking so common to shopping cart wheels.

Tread guards

Seals and protects ball-bearings from foreign objects and increases life of hub assembly.

Polypropylene hub

The polypropylene hub design incorporates a curved slope to provide improved resistance to side impact thrusts.

Polyurethane tread

The unique polyurethane tread is mechanically bonded to a high impact polypropylene hub which eliminates tread separation. The tread offers superior abrasion properties ensuring maximum durability.
